I like the medium dragon ^_^ it's not super huge but it's probably still rideable if riding would be possible XD great work! 8D I like how the dragon looks older as it gets bigger, instead of just copy-paste-resize
This is actually super helpful for me right now ^^ I'm trying to make a dragon character and I'm having a crap time trying to figure out how big to make her... this scale sheet helps me visualize and compare things much better. Thanks for sharing this!
lol all this fighting is silly and btw tarjcia i thought at first you said it was all yours and not inspired then after that you said it was inspired xD? you all confuse me but tarjcia has a point all dragons look alike!
i feel bad for you man, all these people jumping on your ass just because your dragon might look like someone else's dragon. seriously, most dragons look quite similar in the end, and there really isn't a whole lot you can do to make yours stand out from the others. anyway, really nice work, keep it up ^_^
Yeah, a dragon is a dragon, it would be like saying "Im suing you because your dog looks similar to mine!" or that someone is upset because that praying mantis you drew happened to look like the one they drew. Seriously ignorant people. So I definately agree with you RMH2, and Tarjcia, dont worry about it.
No. Not so. These are universally recognisable D&D Red Dragons. You can't try and put these off as dragons of your own creation. And apparently I'm not the first person to notice that. You may not have stolen the exact picture of the dragon scale from the book, but the image looks extremely similar, and you are using a design from a previous artist. All you have to do is credit that original artist for their design of the Red Dragon and inspiration for this image, and all will be well. People would stop accusing you of art theft, and you could go on your way. But since you are being so defensive about it, it makes me believe that there is an element of copyright infringement here. If there wasn't, you would have already credited the original artist and avoided any accusatory comments in the first place.
This Dragon is MY One, and no other! When this is a Problem for you, do a Criminal!!! I never draw Dragons of other Drawers, cause I CAN DRAW DRAGONS WITHOUT HELP OF OTHERS!!! When they look for you like D&D Dragons, it is NOT my Problem, it is Yours!
Here, the last image didn't work. Here's a better link. [link]
I know you see similarities. You can't tell me you don't. No one is saying that you can't draw dragons on your own, we are telling you that the dragons you have drawn look way too similar to someone else's and you aren't giving any credit to that particular artist. You wouldn't draw Draco and say it was of your creation, he's to recognizeable. Same thing with these dragons. You can draw your own dragons, but kicking and screaming and pitching a fit when someone notices how close they look to someone else's is not going to get you any simpathy or decent reputation as an independent artist. Right now you are just acting like a child.
Boah What's Your Problem????? I KNOW the D&D Dragons! ALL of them! So Tell me NOW what you want! Blame me in something? This is what you do here!!! There are similarities, perhabs. but i never use some Templates, if you believe or not!
Okay, fine, keep screaming and fighting and acting like a child, you sound extremely immature. But I'm probably not the last person that's going to point this out to you. Be prepared to hear the same thing again.
i think YOU are the Child... when you could read a little bit, you will see on ma other Red Dragon pic some little Word called (insp. D&D). LOL! So you only want a little Victim for your Aggressions... i think you are definately more immature.....
You don't need to be so defensive, but if you take a look at the D&D Red Dragons, you would notice how extremely similar they look. I'm sorry, but you aren't fooling anyone, you are making yourself look very immature and silly.
ah, you mean i copy that? wtahs with the Ice Dragon? Also a copy? When you really think i must copy things, you're wrong in your Presumption! I know that book, but it looks very diffrent! How would you do such a thing?
